Guillaume Pictet

Chairman (non-executive)

Guillaume Pictet holds a degree in Economy from the University of Lausanne (HEC). He is the Managing Partner and Vice Chairman at De Pury Pictet Turrettini & Co. Ltd. in Geneva. Formerly he was a senior manager at Darier Hentsch & Cie. Previously he was a senior economist at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Affairs in Berne.

Hans Kuntzemüller

Advisory Board (non-executive)

Hans Kuntzemüller is partner of cm-p Change Management Partner in Zurich. He used to be CEO of EGL, a Swiss energy trading company with own generation and transmission assets, and boardmember of Energiedienst and EnBW Vertrieb GmbH. He is a physicist by training. Hans Kuntzemüller is an active investor in the energy industry since 1998 (industrial and private equity). Within the EIC Advisory Board, Hans Kuntzemüller contributes with in-depth knowledge of regulatory trends and commodity price dynamics in Europe.

Mikael Karlsson

Advisory Board (non-executive)

Mikael Karlsson is a Partner and co-Head of Energy with Actis Capital LLP ("Actis"), a leading private equity investor in emerging markets. Since 2009, he has been the CEO of Pendekar Ltd, as well as Globeleq Inc. and Globeleq Generation Limited from 2009 to 2016. Previously, he held various senior management positions at ABB Equity Ventures, such as global head of development and new investments. Additionally, he co-founded InfraInvest, which advises on energy and infrastructure investments and led to the inception of Arox Infrastructure and Arox Capital, focusing on the management of infrastructure funds. Over 19 years in the industry, Mr. Karlsson has been involved in power projects in China, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon, Columbia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mikael Karlsson holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkoping Institute of Technology in Sweden and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the US. Within the EIC Advisory Board, Mikael Karlsson contributes the view of a global investor in emerging markets.


René Charrière

Advisory Board (non-executive)

Rene Charriere holds a Swiss Banking Diploma (eidg. dipl. Bankfachmann). Until recently he was the managing director and local management board responsible for the business development of State Street Bank in Switzerland. Previously he was Managing Director of the Swisscanto Funds Management Company responsible for production and distribution of unit trusts and private pension products. Prior to his appointments in Switzerland he had several management positions in London in the securities trading and asset management business. He is fluent in German, English and French. His main area of expertise to the board is the production and distribution of asset management products as well investment processes.
