Dr. Dominique Candrian, CFA
Dominique Candrian is the Managing Partner and the President of the Board of Directors. Prior to founding EIC in 2002, Dominique held senior positions within the ABB Group from 1989 to 1999. He successfully led the financing and the development of major infrastructure projects in the US, Taiwan, Morocco, India and Israel. He furthermore is the President of the Board of Directors at Energiedienst Holding AG. Dominique holds a Doctor degree in economics from the University of Zurich and is a CFA charterholder. Dominique lectures economics at the University for Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
Prior to joining EIC in 2014, Hans-Peter Stöckl held various lead responsibilities in large-scale power plant developments and IPP project finance transactions. He worked for EGL AG (today AXPO AG) from 2004 to 2010. As head of the conventional power plant and infrastructure business development group he was in charge of the FEED development of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline and the feasibility study of the NorGer Cable connection. Formerly, Hans-Peter led the market entry and development of Turbomach S.A. in Central and Eastern Europe from 1997 to 2003. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Management and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ).
Stephan Truffer, CFA
Stephan Truffer is a member of the Board of Directors and a co-founder of EIC Partners AG. Prior to founding EIC in 2002, Stephan held various lead responsibilities for M&A transactions in the energy sector on behalf of Lehman Brothers Inc. in London. Between 1996 and 1999 Stephan worked for ABB Financial Services AB in Hong Kong. He was in charge of analyzing and negotiating power-related investment opportunities in Asia Pacific. He holds a Masters degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen and is a CFA charterholder.
Finance & Compliance
Caspar Lagler is Head of Finance and Compliance. Prior to joining EIC in 2014, Caspar worked for seven years as a Public Accountant at PwC AG in Zurich. He served clients in the financial services industry, mainly in banking and asset management. Between 2002 and 2006 Caspar held various trainee and intern positions at AIG Private Bank AG and AIG Fund Management AG. He holds a Bachelors degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant (dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer).
